Ticket Prices & Dates

All members and guests, regardless of their age, must purchase advance tickets to Bright Nights.

Event Dates: November 22-24, 27, 29-30. December 1, 4-8, 11-23, 26-31.

Admission rates vary based on your selected night. Please click on the calendar to view admission rates for the date you wish to visit. 

Peak Prices:

• November 22-24, 29-30, December 1, 6-8, 13-14, 19-23
  • Ages 13+: $18 | Ages 3-12: $10 | Ages 2 and under: FREE (please reserve a ticket)
  • Lauritzen Gardens Members: Ages 18+: $9 | Ages 3-17: $5 | Ages 2 and under: FREE (please reserve a ticket)

Regular Prices: 

• November 27, December 16-18, 26-31
  • Ages 13+: $16 | Ages 3-12: $9 | Ages 2 and under: FREE (please reserve a ticket)
  • Lauritzen Gardens Members: Ages 18+: $8 | Ages 3-17: $4.50 | Ages 2 and under: FREE (please reserve a ticket)

Value Nights:

• December 4, 5, 11, and 12

  • Lauritzen Gardens Members: Ages 18+: $7 | Ages 3-17: $4 | Ages 2 and under: FREE

Lauritzen Gardens Member Discounts:

• Garden members must log in to their membership account to receive their 50% discount on tickets. Please note that garden membership is not transferable and that the number of tickets you are able to purchase at a discount is commensurate with your membership level. 
• Discounts for members are applied after products are added to the cart (you must be signed in to receive discounts). If discounts do not properly calculate, please DO NOT process your transaction. Please contact us at (402) 346-4002, ext. 201 or 214 for assistance. These lines are not monitored 24/7.

General Information

• Tickets: Prices vary by date and advance tickets are strongly encouraged. Events may sell out, so same day tickets may not be available for purchase. If available, tickets sold at the door will be sold at a higher price. 
• Entry: Tickets are sold in 15-minute arrival slots, but there is not a limit to the length of your visit before the garden closes. There is no early entry and late entry is at the garden's discretion. Please do not scan tickets until your time slot is active and your entire party is present. If you arrive before your scheduled time slot or are waiting for additional members of your party, please gather in the front of the visitor and education center or wait in your car before heading to admissions.
• Hours: On select dates from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Event and garden close at 9 p.m.
• Groups: Discounted rates are available for groups of 20+. Please email t.sawaged@omahabotanicalgardens.org for details.

Additional Information

• Enjoy festive food and drinks, including s’mores, from Abraham Catering and J’s Coffee (additional fees apply).
• Late arrivals are not guaranteed entry.
• Parking is free.
• Tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable.
• In the event that Lauritzen Gardens must cancel the event, the ticket holder will be notified (via the email or phone number used at the time of purchase) and tickets will be rescheduled for another evening.

Special Engagements

Family Fun Nights:

• All aboard for an evening of festive fun for families! Watch model trains, hear a seasonal story, complete a craft, play games, get your face painted, and enjoy other activities and entertainment that fit the theme of each family fun night. 
• Activities run from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and are included with a ticket to Bright Nights 
• November 27 and December 27: Merry Music & Art
• December 1 and 8: Holiday Express
• December 11 and 12: Wild about Animals
• December 17 and 18: Magic of the Season
• December 30 and 31: Winter Carnival

Santa Stops Here:

• Share wishes and spread cheer with Santa on December 1, 6-8, and 11-23
• Activities run from 4:30 to 9 p.m. and are included with a ticket to Bright Nights

Lights and Libations:

• Bars will be open, serving up an array of cocktails, beers, and wines, on December 6, 7, 13, 14, and 20 from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
• All ages may attend these evenings, but guests must be 21 with a valid ID to enter the bar area. 
• Great for date night or for a cheerful night with friends and family. 
• A Bright Nights ticket is required for entry. Drink prices vary. 

If you are unable to use your tickets, we will process them as a tax-deductible contribution to Lauritzen Gardens. We do not offer refunds for unused tickets. 

Lauritzen Gardens sells tickets on our website only. Incorrect pricing and promotions by other, unauthorized entities, such as third-party sites, will not be honored. Tickets purchased through third-party entities are not valid and will not be accepted.

Are you a garden member? As a member, you will need to register and create an account with Lauritzen Gardens' online system in order to receive your discounts. You can create your account here. Your username needs to be the email connected with your Lauritzen Gardens membership. If you do not know the email that we have on file, please contact the membership department at (402) 346-4002, ext. 214 or membership@omahabotanicalgardens.org. After creating your account, please sign in for all subsequent transactions (your email will appear in the upper right when signed in).
